01 · The job

What the site had to do

NRGPAL designs, supplies and installs solar, batteries, EV chargers and air conditioning across Victoria, and helps homeowners claim state and federal rebates. The site has to explain a considered purchase in plain language, size a system for each home, and turn that interest into consultations the sales team can follow up fast.

What I did

  1. 01Rebuilt the website on WordPress with a custom Divi child theme, a WooCommerce catalog of packaged systems and local SEO.
  2. 02Built a four-question "Build your system" sizer and a battery savings calculator, each with an optional lead form.
  3. 03Set up GoHighLevel workflows for lead follow-up, with the LeadConnector chat widget on the site.
  4. 04Reworked the brand's social media profiles and content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  5. 05Prepared Google Ads: GTM and GA4 with quote, consultation, calculator and click-to-call events, the Meta pixel and the Ads conversion linker, for a campaign launching in November 2026.

02 · Inside the build

The decisions that shaped it

  • Sized to the home, not a sales target

The headline and the sizer lead with fit: answer four questions and get a recommended system before anyone calls.

  • Rebates answered up front

A rebates page and a library of guides explain the Solar Homes and federal battery programs, which is the first question most Victorian homeowners ask.

  • Consent built into every form

Contact and consultation forms capture callback times and separate consent for calls, SMS and marketing, so follow-up in GoHighLevel stays compliant.

  • Tracking before spend

Every key action fires a GA4 event and the Meta pixel records leads, so the Google Ads launch can bid on real conversions from day one.
